Chap messaged me to swap his kitchen tap
I ask his address, block of flats in town, I know there’s no parking but I ask him anyway. No parking but he says I can park in Tesco & walk!
I won’t be doing that.
He asks for a price, I’ve got absolutely no interest in doing the job so I go in high, £150 labour.
Now, I have no idea who this person is, he’s not a customer, hasn’t been a recommendation etc.
He tells me he’s ‘going to get me’
I told him no problems, let’s meet up, he starts abusing me, going crazy.
I definitely swerved a bullet there. Must’ve been another crack head on steroids.
Where do these people come from.

Soz Rockster, thought you were supplying some B n Screw specials 😂😂😂😂😂😂 No mate I won’t supply that rubbish A chap about 10 years ago wanted his bath shower mixer replaced, I was starting out, he’d was playing everyone against each other, I took the job, a Wickes special, anyway, after some time it started dripping, I received an email that as I fitted it he wanted a new one under warranty. I look through my diary as I knew who he was, it was fitted just more than a year past so my email reply was golden, telling him he was cheap, parts were cheap etc. I concluded by saying I was happy to swap it but it’d be £80 labour plus a decent tap. Never heard from him again Great result |
