Just watching a program called engine addict on quest and they've got a polish made car called an FSO Syrena that has a drain off on the engine so the water doesn't freeze overnight in the winter, thats one way to save money paying for antifreeze

knowing the poles, they'll still put antifreeze in and when they've supped all the vodka they drain the engine off and sup all the antifreeze, ok-wink

Can't ever see me draining the water off the engine overnight during the winter, then re-filling it every morning, to save a few quid on the price of antifreeze.

I'm remembering the Polski Fiat (FSO) from the 70s. They where a 60s fiat re-badged and made in Poland for the 70s.
The newspapers back then would carry adverts proclaiming a new car at a used car price; though they were already 10 years out of date (but hey they where very cheap)!
