A concealed cistern, iso near the floor so you can reach it, the fill valve was shot.
It was fitted with 15mm pipe from the iso, then they use a backplate elbow, compression on the pipe and the fill valve thread was ptfe & pasted to death.
Nice, I said to the customer to to get the cowboys back as they’ve obviously screwed the valve in first then the bottom compression so you can’t unscrew the valve tail.
Also, a cabinet was fitted around it with no space either side to get an arm or spanner in.
I told the customer the unit needs to come out.
Not my problem, I’ve walked away.
The signs that they were rogue were firstly asking how much materials were, and I mean they wanted a breakdown of everything piece by piece, they they told me they wanted to see the receipt.
No thx I said, get a Polska or a drunk.
Yes, they were Indians!

Yes those simple jobs customers keep telling you about, yet cause you sleepless nights!
Thats the reason I ask for photos to be sent over before I even waste my time talking to them about what’s not right about their current install.

People think you can drive around all day looking at stuff for free.
