Evening chaps, I cam across this today, it's leaking from the 15mm copper connection underneath. The previous 'plumber' wrapped PTFE round the connection for £80. Needless to say, it's still leaking. I have no idea what it is and Googling it doesn't help. Any of you guys come across one of these? It has a 15mm copper feed (I presume it's a feed. Also has a quite rigid white plastic pipe attached to it, a clear and bendy plastic tube and an electric cable, the cable looks no thicker then a lamp cable so my guess is that it's not a water heater. I'm hoping I can just blank off the 15mm copper feed if it is a feed? The customer used to have a Triton shower 10 years ago, they have a Mira power shower now that was fitted on a grant, my guess is because it was grant work the previous installers couldn't be arsed disconnecting the old t200re but it is redundant now?

Cheers Battle, so that's either the water heater or the on/off part, it says power pack on it and has a copper feed but what looks like early pushfit pipe connected too. So if I cap the supply the other end of the plastic pipe may be feeding the new shower. Problem is that the current shower is fed from behind in a tiled wall (of course) But it might not be connected to anything, maybe the installers just never removed/disconnected it?? Too many maybes for my liking. Customer is 80 odd years old and I want to keep the price down but it's gonna be one of them jobs I think. I'll pop round and speak to him tomorrow and tell him that I'll try capping the pipe and see what happens, but I might be making holes if it doesn't sort it. Not a thing on the Triton website but I read on a forum that these have a pressure relief that feeds into a clear rubber tube so my guess is it's the heater.

Just read the following on picklick for a sale of one of these power packs: Here is the power pack from a Triton T200RE electric shower (the control panel is separately listed). This unit comprises the heating can and electronics as per photo, together with the original installation manual. So my best guess is that this was just left attached because it wasn't leaking at the time of the refurb. I'll let you know what happens, gonna have an exciting afternoon tomorrow
