looking around for a kitchen tap came across this, bargain at £70 plus postage (with 4 sold) eres the description "Copper Pipe Tap - Rustic Vintage Industrial Kitchen Bathroom Tap Handmade"

I don't know how they make any profit on those , there's £30 worth of materials there, then you need a bending machine and 10 minutes of labour, slave labour is coming to town,,,,,

It's just reminded me of a plumber who once worked for the same firm as I did we were contracted to taking out old Belfast sinks and replacing them with a (what was then) modern sink unit. We would each get dropped off at our own job and the materials would follow on during the day. We all managed to get our sink units done in the day with the exception of one plumber who would take 2 days to do his job! This resulted in him having to make up something very much like what's in the picture so that the tenants could draw water from it overnight! We all found this very amusing and we would always get out of the van to have a look at the overnight stand pipe he had made if our pick up time was before his !!
