I refused a job yesterday.
I looked at a basin tap replacement 2/3 weeks ago.
Yes they were injuns but in a big house. About 15 people living there all with newish cars outside
Told them to buy a tap & I’d fit it. £100.
Yes I had a WhatsApp message, we’ve got the tap, need it fitted asap.
It was a cheap shitty B&q special. I read the reviews & all crap. Told the customer I wasn’t prepared to fit the tap.
Low & behold I had a message this morning, we’ve taken the tap back & ordered a branded tap with warranty & we’ll keep the box so if it fails in the future we can order the parts like you told us!!!!
