Did you get that pipe fixed ?? JJ rang me the other day, He was apparently joining 15mm tube to the old imperial copper and the fitting would not go on, I'm assuming he was trying to join to the old ' council copper' which is slightly thicker and a bit awkward, I hope you got fixed up JJ,  |

I did Tom. Struggled for 1/4hr, then phoned a mate, told him what it was and he came over with the fittings needed to alter the plumbing. All soldered joints. He even drilled a hole right through the wall for the waste to go through, which I cored out to 44mm for the waste pipe. Another mistake I made, was buying the wrong waste pipe. Didn't realise waste pipe comes in two sizes, 43mm and 41mm, so ended up having to get the 41mm for the pushfit fittings.
The shower tray is 700mm x 1650mm and weighed a bloody ton. I got the 90mm waste into position underneath the tray, before putting the tray into position, not realising the top flange was still attached to the waste trap. Had to get my brother to lift the tray up so I could retrieve it. All in now, tiled up to the existing tiles. Today I'm back there to fit the shower screen, then the jobs a good un.

Still got to go back tomorrow. Dad told me he had a tube of silicon. Yeah, forgot to tell me he’d used a bit of it three years ago. What he’s actually got is a tube of solid silicon sealant.😂😂😂😂 I’ll get a new tube tomorrow, then over to his for ten minutes.
ps, I love the way me dad says “ You can just nip over” to do these jobs, when it takes 20 minutes to drive to his house. 😂😂😂😂😂😂

alls well that ends well, You shouls have held on for a few days JJ, I've heard they are taking the disable shower out of the palace soon because Carmilla is demanding a new un,,, its be on ebay next week,  |

Nah, the shower they are putting in for Camilla, is a special equine shower, meant for horses. 😂😂😂😂
