I’ve not really used them, the tails had a rubber so no ptfe needed, the tail had a flared end, it all looked a bit loose but it didn’t leak so no complaints.
Anyone use them more often?

I've used rad tail extensions loads of times when going from imperial rads to metric.
Do you mean the telescopic type that you can slide out and in to the length you need?
I've seen them, they're probably fine but I just don't trust them.
