A traditional gravity fed heating system. All working ok. No real issues.
The F&E tank water keeps going high. The ballcock is new, not letting by.
Do you think the heating is pumping over via the vent?
If so, does this indicate some sort of blockage?
Or another reason?
All rads get nice & hot. Modern boiler, pipes are 30 years old. Power flushed 6 months ago, magma clean fitted.
Water in F&E isn’t filthy black, it’s dirty but not terrible.
Any thoughts?

hi Rocky, It indicates a pin hole in the heating coil, To prove it is, Empty the F+E tank in a bucket, turn off the water to the H+F tank and if it fill again, Its a pin hole in the cylinder heating coil,

actually it means, head and feeder which is the same thing, sometimes my head is in inches and sometimes metric, Its a 50's child thing
