I’ve got a customer who wants a modern back to wall (not wall hung) toilet & has said about the cistern etc, in a frame. I’ve said it doesn’t need a frame but she’s been on the Internet & thinks she wants a frame.
So, are they fitted around a wooden frame & screwed to it then the front all hidden behind a tiled front?
I’ve never fitted one. No problems in building a frame & boxing it in. I think they’re good, modern, easy to service etc: I like them.
Cheers all.

Bonkers fitting a Frame with a BTW WC, complete waste of money!! if they want to waste money, send it to me, I’m down to my last £3million.

I can’t see that building a wooden frame in front of the cistern, then boarding it and tiling it, is going to make it easier to service ? Surely it’ll be a pita when the cistern needs new inlet/ flush valve ?

I agree but if that what she wants then that’s what she wants. I’ve told her & that’s all I can do. If I don’t fit it then she’ll pay someone else to fit & I’ll lose a customer & a payday.

Nice to know you’ve got a customer who knows exactly what they want, makes the job so much easier.

Read the instructions carefully and you might find it easier than building up a box.
