I have used them before no problem and about to use them again as customer has requested As for rad valves all depends if Screwfix has an offer on at the particular you go buy the Rads

I bought a couple when I upgraded my own heating system (now 8 years ago). They came delivered and nicely packaged in cardboard with a free (Drayton) TRV and lock-shield valve for each radiator. Both nice radiators that I've had no problems with at all in they're 8 years of life.
NB. I did notice that when the free valves offer ended 8 years ago that the radiator price went down which made me wonder if the free valves were just a sales gimmick?

I used them a lot, competitively priced and well packed with thick cardboard and I never had a call back from any job I did, I would rate them highly

As luck would have it, my mother in law or brother in law have slammed a chair into a valve or connecting rad and now its leaking. (They waited for me to find the leak of course....)
My usual trick of self-amalgamating tape worked but will obviously need to fix properly when convenient.
Have a question though: Existing rad is to be fair knackered and from the 1970s - typical double style with no fins. It is 2200x600 ish. Big rads seem quite expensive. To get the equivalent heat from a new FLomasta type 22 could I go much smaller ? Was thinking 1800 biggest or maybe even 1600 ?

As a Rule of Thumb Dafty, Top Grille, Side Panel Compact Radiators were 20% more efficient, so a reduction on that scale may give the same output.
