Hi fats, you're supposed to be my number 1 student. What are the flow rate differentials between kitchen sink and bathroom outlets, remember pressure and flow rates are different.

Hi fats, you're supposed to be my number 1 student. What are the flow rate differentials between kitchen sink and bathroom outlets, remember pressure and flow rates are different. hey PB! I am very proud to be your number one student and have learnt soooooo much from your goodself and Tomplum. Right, pressure. Turn an isolator on without a pipe on cold main = high pressure. Turn a big, large cold tap on = lower pressure than isolator due to bigger outlet. Flow rate. I think i recall TomP saying about how long it takes to fill a bucket up. Have i got that right? If so, shall i measure difference in flow between kitchen and bathroom using second hand on my watch? should they be almost identical? As for pressure wont that depend on the outlet of the taps?

Yeah, use a jug & see how many litres per minute from each outlet.
Just as a heads up my kitchen hot & bath hot were different
The bath being on 22mm from combi was slower
Although I changed kitchen tap to a Brita filter & both hot & cold improved!
What the flow rate max if your boiler?

Run it in a bucket fats for 10 seconds and multiply the volume by 6 and that will give your litres per minute mate, don't spill it.
