Hull is like my underpants, full of hard seaman!!

Your right about that ”Record-breaking levels of a sexually transmitted disease (STD) dating back to Victorian times have been reported in a north Yorkshire town. First described by German physician Albert Neisser in 1879, cases of gonorrhoea – colloquially known as "the clap" – have skyrocketed in all four Humberside local authority areas, with latest NHS data revealing North East Lincolnshire to be a particular hotspot. The authority recorded a high of 251 gonorrhoea infections last year, an increase of 264 per cent since 2021 with a rate of 159.7 per 100,000 people – meaning one in every 600 are now thought to be carrying the disease.”

I must admit that they do look like a right ramshackle collection of plumbers Dick and I do wonder what the customers will think when this bunch knock at their door ?

DDs not so daft he seems to know exactly where the holes are in plumbing and he then posts them up like he's fell in one himself (I'm sure it's just to see if we also know!) This is a chap that I also find interesting and he always leaves in when things don't go according to plan (which was also what tom did with toms tips). I often feel sorry for him when watching. Mind you he does like his power-flushes.

Mind you he does like his power-flushes. If he had done a better job of cleaning the F&E tank he would on noticed the faulty fill valve. Now I know the faulty over flow was bad luck but the valve was just laziness.

That's a fair comment battle, I was always telling Charlie (my last ever apprentice) not to be a lazy plumber! I suppose it's also a case of how much checking of the existing plumbing system do you do before you get on with the actual job that you came to do?

It’s never easy on a quoted job out of your work area, let alone a rushed quoted job due to additional unpaid work.
As he gets older he will work smarter as he’ll not have the energy to recover from his over estimating, to his work rate to work done capabilities.
Nice guy I’m sure but the valve error was a school boy mistake as the whole install oozed previous neglect to me, telling him check and double check.
