another tip I can offer Rockey is, If the fitting you buy will not fit because it won't go inside is, Take the rubber ' finned' washer off, If the plastic goes into the cast without the rubber, Coat the plastic with a good potion of silicone and inset and leave to harden,

Another tip rocky relating to the same above problem is to drop the entire plastic connector into a bucket of the hottest water you can for a few seconds in order to soften it then give it a good whack with some 2x2 timber into the soil pipe.
