Toilet update again

Today was an epic day.
I’ve not done any manual work for nearly 18 months & my body this afternoon is in trouble.
The cast pipe was a beast to cut, the old toilet was a beast to get out & eventually got the hammer treatment, the DC1 wouldn’t fit in the cast pipe so I had to buy a fernco rubber coupler & that was tight to get on the cast pipe but went with some ‘persuasion’.
The fixing kit didn’t arrive today so hopefully I can fix it to the floor tomorrow & fit the back panel. Fit new light switch.
All that’s left is to silicone everything & fit edging to panels. Then new flooring.
One thing I’m very pleased with is the flush. I was worried about the 6l flush but it’s 100%. I think they must design the pan so the flush goes all around & gets rid of the shit & paper.
All in all I’m happy.
Just aching like an old man. Early to bed if I can stay awake!
