I had a Quick Look Tom & they’re not to be fitted indoors. Plus it’s a 36kw unit so would(?) produce about 14Ltr/min so it’s likely to be a bit too big for your HW requirements. This is just my initial thoughts👍👍

Thanks Dick, I had noticed that it needed to be fitted out side and that would't be a problem in this case because the back end of the caravan is in a covered area so, its out of the weather, I'll continue my search before making a choice,

For a outdoor location, I don’t see a problem. All he needs to consider is freezing.
He’ll not have a large flow demand, so I’d think a 10-12Ltr/min Unit would be best(& cheaper). These Chinky units have all the features, so for under a Ton, it looks the best option. Loads on eBay!! HTH

I looked at another with a 10 lire output and asked the seller, " what does the 10 L mean ? " the seller answered, " the heater shuts down when 10 litres have been heated" I'm sure thats not right, What do chinky shop keepers know, So I ased another question, " can you send me the fitting instructions and regulation specs" I'll see how that goes,

A Mass Flow Rate Calculation will tell you the Flow Rate of the Water Heater. So say we’re wanting 14Ltr/min Hot Water Flow Rate at 50°C. 14Ltr/min = .233Ltr/sec. The incoming mains cold water is say 15°C. The Hot Water Temperature we want is 50°C. So, that’s a Delta T of 50-15 = 35°C......a Temperature Rise of 35°C. 35x4.2(specific heat carrying capacity of water) x .233Ltr/sec = 34.25KW of heat. So the appliance must have an output of 34.25KW to provide 14Ltr/min. As simple as that👍👍

Thanks Dick, thats very informative as, My skills are more practical and all that head work in my working life was done by a boss or the kindley pen pusher in the plumbers merchants,Yes I did have to ' polly parrot' it at ACS exams but, I used the books to do it, My built in ' hard drive' is only about 20 mb So. in lay mans terms , The caravans water is delivered by a pump I fitted and delivers 8 litres/min, to the cold water, would that 10L heater work continuous for a 10 minute shower ?

In theory Tom, if a shower is running at 38-40°C,. The Water heater produces 50°C Hot Water & the Cold is 15°C, then the blended mix of 40°C is 15°C Cold & only 25oC Hot. As long as the Chinky Water Heater doesn’t fart, stutter, start On & Off, it’ll work great. I wouldn’t expect much ‘change’ out of the Supplier, they’ll know fuck all about the product. I’d take a punt on it, for the money it’s your best option👍👍 I’ll have a look at the Spec for these types of Water Heater & see if there’s anything more enlightening on any of them. They all look the same on FleeBay.

This is about the cheapest I’ve found Tom & has a fairly clear Spec too; www.ebay.co.uk/itm/276105841368I’ve just noticed they all have an operating Gas Pressure of 28Mbar, which is for Butane.

Well the boiler came yesterday , I fitted today and its up and running, I'm impressed with the ignition and display, It works from 2 x 1.5v batteries and in Summer mode produced 10L of water at 45decree which is a good shower,
