I don't know why but I've worked every bank holiday this year and i'm working monday too, Is it bad management,am i too soft. or am i going off my head  ? and that letting agent phoned again, i don't normally swear to women, and i did't to her, but i wanted to, she's taking the right piss, smiley-sad056 nay |

I'm working tomorrow but not Monday.  I did a job for a guy I said £50 cash and he agreed, twat sent me a cheque and he'll be getting the fucker back. kick-in-the-balls |

Got a combi swop to do Monday in a high street hairdresser's shop , best time to do it as the shop is closed for bank holiday and i can park right outside on the yellow line , i fitted a filter and dosed the system last week so it's just a matter of a drain and flush and a bit of pipe modification , in and done in 4 hours .........and in the pub by 1 pm , Happy days

At my pace of work now Chelsearob it seems unfair as it takes me all day to do things I did in a couple of hours once,So I charge accordingly. It depends who they are whether I like them or not. On Monday I'm working for a builder who looks after me, he does all the woodkwork,carrying,covering things,he helps with anything and everything and he sweeps up after me, I charge him £100 per day a day is arriving at 9.30 then I work non stop till I'm tired. usually 2pm. Its always cash with him and he gets all the stuff, so its a good deal,  |

My view is that if you're self employed and you need work then what difference does it make what the date is?
Bank holidays are over-rated anyway, everywhere's too busy to enjoy yourself and the traffic's bad everywhere. We can take a day off whenever we like.

I do feel quite privileged to be an employee (especially now that I'm getting on a bit) and having all the bank holidays off, plus paid leave!
