Now where do I fit the overheat stat on wet underfloor heating system to protect the flooring and what should I set the cut off at to turn the boiler off?

Sorry Battle, I've never done any underfloor heating but my guess would be on the flow near to the boiler, the boiler will have its normal stat and a overheat in its construction so you just need some control over the underfloor circuit in case it gets blocked or damaged,,

Now where do I fit the overheat stat on wet underfloor heating system to protect the flooring and what should I set the cut off at to turn the boiler off? It really depends on the set-up you have. The surface Floor Temperature(concrete screed floor), the maximum it should be is 27-29°C. Generally, there’s a Blending Valve or Mixing Valve at the Manifold. That takes some Flow Water from the boiler & mixes it with the Return water from the Floor Loops. This will reduce the Loop water temperature to the required temperature. Also there’s usually a Control Temperature thermostat on the Manifold. That’ll prevent overheating. HTH

Thank you for the reply’s chaps.
Dick its a 4 zone JG underfloor heating set up system with the radio controlled wiring centre and thermostats on a Baxi 830 system boiler none vented system complete with its own wiring centre and pump etc. for S plan set up.
I fitted a Danfoss pipe stat set at 40°C which works when tested by increase the underfloor heating temp via the blending valve which shuts down the underfloor heating pump on activation of the stat.
Now I’ve never worked on a wet underfloor system but it’s keeps putting the boiler into a low firing mode - display on the boiler blinks a code which states over heat protection when only running the under floor heating.
Now it s a 30KW boiler with only two of the four zones used and I expect using less than five KW of its capacity, when only the underfloor heating is selected. The system works fine on hot water or heating or both and the underfloor plus either tanked stored hot water or rads but not just the underfloor heating on its own.
So my next question is have you got any video suggestions on wet underfloor heating JW style videos those really informative type?

Test in case the boiler is getting a back-Feed when it should be Off or On with the UFH. Some photos would be helpful👍👍

This is the system I’m busy installing. I’ve fixed the boiler fault, which I created by not thinking smart. The cure was to fit an addition air vent on the zone valve circuit for the underfloor heating, if you expand the image you can see the one I’ve added extra (with the red cap).

This image shows where I added the air vent and overheat cutout stat for floor covering protection.

Hmmm......Why did you waste so much money on controls, pipework etc? When, for UFH you should’ve utilised a Primary/Secondary system using Close Coupled Tees.
