It must be-hidden behind the circular plastic cap? May be that cap is threaded as it clearly has deformation to allow access.

I don't know either so, I'll take a couple of guesses, As Battle has pointed out, the flat has indents that a screwdiver might flip out, or there my be grub screws at the side, or the whole thing may have slid down into a slotted bolt in the wall, Like all plumbers Astra, you are ' Jonhny on the spot' and figureing stuff out is part of the job, please come back and let us know how you do it,,

Hi Battle / Tom
the indents you can see is me with my grips marking the parts trying to twist it loose
the screw driver slot you can see just releases a front plastic cap that just covers up
a hole hole that you get small diameter going into a large diameter ( eccentric diameter ) if you can understand what i am on about,,,,
I came across this fitting a year ago had same problem but that time I just cut it off the wall as I was going to fit
a new towel radiator all together ,,, silly me should have took more time and looked at how it should have been removed
back then ,,,,, Hindsight is too easy to say after the event .....
Unfortunately I had the conversation with the customer that I could not remove the rad so she is now forced to Rub it down
and re-paint while still on the wall as this rad is a weird size 450mm wide with 387mm pipe crts no space on wall for a wider
radiator, pipework very very short sticking out off the floor and customer did not seem very happy to replace with a narrower
radiator with me having adjust the pipework to suit ,,,,,,,Some Customers who'd have Emmm...........

Good move Astra, sometimes walking is the right option, Plumbing is always troublesome and you can get yourself in deep shit going into unknown and especially in tight corners Well done Astra
