How do you refix a electric shower to a tiled partition wall.Its a ceramic tiled with wood behind it and hardiebacker board. Would you use plugs? What size drill bit? What size screw?

How do you refix a electric shower to a tiled partition wall.Its a ceramic tiled with wood behind it and hardiebacker board. Would you use plugs? What size drill bit? What size screw? If the Tiles are sound AJ, just use Rawl Plugs. 6 or 7mm /Red or Brown. The Tiles will be enough support👍👍

Once through tile do I pilot wood? 6/7mm Drill bit through the Tiles & just screw into the wood behind. 4mm Gauge screws, as my learned friend pointed out, will do the job👍👍 PS. Over the last few years I started using the Arrow Point type bits, they dig right in & don’t fly all over the tile👍👍
