yes, he's offered tea all day long, went for my dinner, carried stuff, tidied up etc can't fault him on that, Its just at the end of it all he's gonna say, " here tom take this tenner, you've worked hard for it" smiley-sad027 skint Some years ago, my dad moved house. in the space of about 6 months he got me and my younger brother doing all sorts of jobs. Levelling the paving slabs outside his back door. Putting in an extra drain for the run off from the canopy he had installed, New worktops in his kitchen, new sink, fixing a leak in the roof. All sorts of stuff. We never once asked nor expected payment. On his second Christmas there he invited us all over for the usual family get together and gave me and my brother a Christmas card each with £100 in. We both said we couldn't take it , but dad insisted, telling us he'd have paid a lot more for the work done if he'd got a builder in. Anyrode we drank his house dry before we left.

I do quite a lot for my old boss as he has had cancer for the last four years and if it wasn't for him I wouldn't be who I am now. stamp

he brought his toolbox out, he said anything you need just help yourself. I think Flatz's toolbox is more use, He gets bonus points for having a pair of footies in there, give him a little credit. I don't even have footies

Not really Tom you'd need a 6mm tileboard on top, you can PVA the plyboard if you go down that road.
