yea i thought ply was't the way to go but he's convinced it will, He's thinking all the time of saving money and even though i've told him a thousand times, " you've paid £100's for the tiles get a proper tiler in or you'll regret it later" he won't listen, he says " its a peice o piss tiling" smiley-sad056 nay what can i do......  |

It will be a " I told you so" scenario Tom. Trouble with ply is it will drag the water out of the adhesive to quick so you either wet them down heavily first or PVA them to slow down the drag.  |

yes and dispite your advice which i gave him to pva the boards he said, " it'll be alright on ply cos a bloke told him at work, he'd done his on ply", You can only advice and point a penny pincher in the right direction, I'll get no pleasure whatsoever in saying " I told you so", Anyway he's keen to get on so i left him my rusty ole tile cutter and said , give us a ring when the tilings done, I also burned out my 50mm core drill on the shower waste hole, ,,  |
