Do you ever get told that when a customer phones for a job? It drives me mad, Its their way of saying " you will fix it easy in 10 minutes and it won't cost very much"
Little do they know, smiley-laughing021

Tom you should only have blue chip customers by now.
Their last question should be "how much" - it should only be "I'm glad I'm still on your list of customers your willing to turn out for".
People seem to keen to let price be the most important factor in their judgement - they need to learn service and quality is still worth paying for and includes the assurance any problems with the repair will be revisited in a timely fashion. To many will do a job for a at a ridiculous price but getting them back is harder than will the lottery.

The favourite one is normally the wife saying my husband was going to do it but he hasn't got the time.

I've been out to a few jobs where the husbands have had time ( to fuck something up).
