Any good plumbing tips/tricks to share. Ill kick it off with swiching off flow and return off under combi to make a vacuum to change rad valves. Ive also cut into pipes this way and get about a litre of water come out them vacuum made. The down side is if the iso under combi are old they can start leaking...😨

I just depressurize the system mate and swap them over as long as you're fairly quick alls good. Always make sure to ask the kettle is full before you turn the water off. Attachment Deleted

No, but I'm very interested in any & all tips that work.
So, you go to a job & turn the ISO off & it leaks. Is there a fix I'm missing? I know Tom said turn it the other way.

To remove a small radiator; Don't need to drain the radiator, shut the rad valves, disconnect the 'union' 15mm nut, fit a 15mm cap & tighten. Do the same on the other side. Lift the rad off the wall, take outside & drain.
To drain a ladder type towel rail; Shut the rad valves, remove the air valve, stick a hose into the TR & siphon the water out.
Quick combi swop; Open the PRV on the old boiler, drop the pressure, shut the F&R old valves. Fit the magnaclean type filter & valves to the return, shut the magnaclean valve, cut/disconnect the the Flow & fit a 22mm full flow lever valve IF you get too much water coming up the pipe. Connect your F&R to your new boiler & fill the system as normal. Ensure all air is eliminated from the new boiler will ensure no air locks in the existing radiators. Common sense with all H&C connections.
Hows that for starters??
