My customer want me to fit one to try. I was going to buy the one PB selected & a 15mm 'T' with female
Does the arrestor just need ptfe on the thread & then screws into the female?
The only place to fit it is just after the stopcock. I hope this will be ok.
Anymore advice and I'll be grateful.
Never fitted one.

yea ptfe and go, In the attica good place if its possible, no one can see it and you can get a big pipe in and it wont be in anyones way, anothe good place is inside the basin pedistal or under the bath, in the cylinder cupboard is another good place,

This place is a maisonette so it's got to be in the bathroom by the toilet.
I'll let you know if it cures the issue.
I've told them there's no guarantee it'll work but I still want paying!

If it dont cure it rocky,then it might be water hammer.i had it before on a job and it was the washer in the ballvalve!!sounded like a fog horn!!! If you could record the noise on a vid and post it would be good.☺

Ok I'll try. It's a combi boiler so only the toilet with a ball valve
