Had this text earlier
Any thoughts please?
Whenever we close a tap in the bathroom there's a very loud noise coming from the pipes, it's much louder now and time doesn't sound good at all
Tell me which pipes please & what kind of noise?
It's coming from the bathroom, I think it's the panel in he wall next to the toilet, and it's a loud rattling sound
** I went last week & fixed a leak - saved the day - and the pipes creaked a bit.
Now I got the above message. It's a 1st floor maisonettes & they have a combi. The stop cock is in the bathroom.
Should I just turn stopcock off a bit?
I won't be going today!!
Cheers all
Rct

Pipe has come unclipped somewhere rocky and if you can't find where the only thing that will help is a hammer arrester.

sounds like a pressure problem, tell them to try turning the stop tap down a bit,If it dont work you might have to fit an arrestor, thats like a little pressure vessel

Where would i fit the arrestor? Just after stop cock?
I don't think I'll find the unclipped pipe as it's all box in
