Whats your thoughts on using a philmac fitting on steel heating pipes?

what do you mean endfeed, to fix/repair or to install with ? If you mean repair or tranistion to copper/plastic they are great, but they would work out very expensive if you were using them to join the steel together instead of screw threading the pipe and using iron fittings,

Im just looking for an easy way to change steel pipe to cooper if i get a leak,been in crawl space today at school and the steel heating look rusted to shit!!!😨

thats a good way to do it, get a tranition fitting and change to copper or plastic and away you go,

a transition fitting takes you from iron to copper or lead to copper, it will say 21mm x15mm, as opposed to a 25mm to 25mm which is a staight coupling, I'll find you a link, back in a mo www.philmac.co.uk/ clik on the link then click the universal/tranition tab

yea, they do a 21mm x 15,, which will do 1/2" iron to 15mm copper, then the next which does 3/4 to 22mm and so on,

I've used the conversion kit toolstation does a few times works good. ive not used it on heating though.
