80 mile round trip this morning to service an Ideal Logic combi. This is the fourth year I've done it between Xmas & Hogmanay. Lovely people, cup of coffee & back along the M77. Its a great time of year being PAYE, paid holidays & catching up on your own wee jobs. Cash on the hip jobs Dick.  |

I was called into our ward for 3, 1/2 hrs yesterday. Ward sister on the phone said " We're sinking faster than the bloody Titanic here>" Had a quick shower then went in. Ahh well , 7hrs pay for that  |

I hope the Ward Sister remembers those members of staff who are flexible in times of need for the greater good of her patients, well done JJ. |

I know someone who works in the health service who does work rotas and she always says staff who have been selected to work Christmas regularly throw sickies. I'm back at the Mill tomorrow myself I've had a good Christmas and it's only for 2 days then I'm off again for another 4  . Quite possibly a few will knock sick tomorrow at the Mill as well. |

We have to, do you remember the letter we all got from her Maj, giving us an amnesty, " pay your correct tax or else" If thats not plumber discrimination I don't know what is, None of the expense fiddling politicians got one, nor the high payed Merchant bankers,lawyers etc etc , no taxi drivers,betting shops,scrap collectors,window cleaners or drug dealers, but plumbers did,  WTF ? |
