Just done a fairly easy couple of days at work so now it's onto another 4 days of festivities!
Only one job today replacing an electric shower then it was just a time killing exercise for the rest of the day.
Slightly more busier yesterday though.
First job I had to the replace air in a Zilmet expansion vessel only to discover that the air valve was passing, anyone know if it is possible to replace these air valves in these or is it a new Ex V?
I've just put down for the whole vessel to be replaced next week.
Then a leak under a bath, which was the overflow combi waste.
Followed by a "not in" job.
Then, believe it or not, a clean out (frozen) gutters job brrrrrrrrr!
If I was working for myself I doubt if I could have turned that lot above into a couple of days pay.

I had a call today from a cheeky fucker, She wanted me to call tomorrow at 1.30 precise because its the only time she can be home to give a quote to fix a leaking toilet,
I told her I cannot give a precise time and i don't give quotes to fix toilets, I'll get there when i can ( even thought i've no work booked in) and i'll charge £50 for the first half hour + parts and £20 per every other half hour, she's going to ring back later, yeah, smiley-finger005

thats a very likely possibility battle, I don't think I'll find out, The reason I mentioned it is I got a call for a leak on a washing machine I previously installed - it wasn't a leak, just condensation on the feed pipe as the new ones aren't rubber now like the tap flexi hose. Tom, I've never had anyone request a fixed time like that there always happy with you just agreeing a two hour slot and fine tuning it as you get closer to it, as traffic is unpredictable. |

traffic is a major factor near me, the powers that be altered a juction last year, now the traffic backs down to my house most of the day between 8am and 6.30pm, Its a fucking nightmare, what winds me up its was supposed to improve the junction and cost £1.5m,,it failed, smiley-face-shaking-fist
