I've had a day like that rocket, I'm fucked, my knee is aching ,back aching i'm tired,hungry, the bloke offeered my a cup of tea in the morning in a cracked ,dirty cup, it looked like coloured water, I chucked it down the sink, I've been taking a bath out and putting a shower in, I thought it would be easy but everything went tits up, tiles fell off,the floor is rotted, I showed the custerd the floor, he said carry on, I said I can't you'll go through the floor its not strong enough to take the weight, He said it held the bath ok, then he said fix the floor if you want but I'm not paying any extra, same goes for the tiles, you gave me a price and thats all i'm paying, At this point I packed up, I've retreated but will regroup and return soon, I'm too old for all this too,  |

Well I could't leave it as it was battle, I reinforced it with some 3 x 2 then put some chipboard on top, that will last him out i think, as for the tiles, i'm going to get a box of white tiles and patch up, He's already said he's not going to pay for extra's so he' can't complain about it, I don't think he'll too bothered, he just wants the ease of getting in and out of a shower rather than a bath,
just another shit day,,we all get um,,well I do smiley-whacky086 fan shit

a days wage plus matts is what I'll lose if i don't go back plus it gives him the right to say i've not finished, So i'll go back and finish and bear the lose of half a box of white tiles and some timber, then give him an invoice for time and materials unpaid for and wish him luck in finding a plumber for any other works that he needs and remind him that none of my work will carry the usual 12 months warrantee, then draw a line under it and move on, some days you're the statue and somedays you're the pigeon, Attachment Deleted |
