After a false start with it thinking I'd bought a "pig in a poke" it's now grown on me! Attachment Deleted

Im loving my mole grips at moment, keep getting me out of the shit, snapped screews out of wood and walls, there my extra hand at times... Never had mole grips in my tools until a couple of weeks ago, got me out of the shit today holding a gland nut still while I turned the stop tap to open it through a piddly little hole in a kitchen unit. No outside toby so if that had popped out I'd still be there now.

Ugggh no, mole grips scare me! When I was an apprentice a tap top was proving difficult to get off when the customer said "here use these" and handed me a fancy looking tool. I'd never seen mole grips before so I had no idea how to use them so I just used them like grips straight on the tap and pushed them together; well, the ruddy things came straight off and the handle locked on to my loose skin on my hand trapping it. "BASTARD" I shouts, in pain, hopping round with a pair of mole grips attached to the palm of my hand ! I'd go no idea how to get the buggers off either !!! Afterwards I made a promise to myself never ever to use them again and I haven't!!!

After a false start with it thinking I'd bought a "pig in a poke" it's now grown on me! I to find that a good tool just the bit selection supplied is rather strange.

These days because my eye sight isn't what it used to be, I find I need a light to assist me so I tend to use one of these. Attachment Deleted

My favourite tool is whatever spotty faced oik that's aiding me in the endeavours of the day, as he brings me the first coffee of the morning he's at that moment prized higher than even my holy Marples Chisels........
