Hi endfeed, lookin' good,
As tappy says, you can connect the boiler direst to a fused spur live/nuetral/earth,or you can just put a plug on with a 3amp fuse and plug in a near socket, the looped link where the LNE connect will control the heating so the internal clock ( if fitted) will control the heating, or take the loop out and wire an external clock/programmer,
And as tappy says, if you're just leaving the loop in for now, the heating will work all he time,
great job endfeed,

You shouldn't get any air trouble with a pressurised system EF.
All rad valves fully open?
Think I'd drain down again and refill it slow and steady starting venting downstairs first then the upstairs keeping it going all the time until fully filled.
Is there an auto air vent at the top of the Baxi that might be blocked?

I've only ever heard that sound when the rads are top entry, bottom exit, and never on a pressurized system, Do as tappy says and see if it moves or alters,

The sound is only coming from two tall vertical rads,

My mate has showed me a few times but if hard when I'm not doing it week in week out It'll come, gotta keep going

Plumbers of my age all did electrics at college as well as gas it was all part of the C&G plumbing exam back then.
It was only really the electrics that we would encounter whilst doing plumbing.
My second boss was a plumber/electrician he learned how to do electrics in WW2 (and drive) I'm sure he once told me he never had to take a driving test (you could tell as well his driving.....really bad)!
