I fixed an outside tap 9am Saturday.
It was constantly running. Told customer to turn water off, undid tap, new washer, tap back on, jobs a good'un, customer didn't want chit chat, was there maybe 3 mins from knocking on door to closing gate, £45.
No complaints or pleads for a discount

On the upside though, we have cheaper property my house is a traditional built semi in a desirable part of a leafy suburb of Town, its got close links to the motorway network, handy for bus routes and railways, You could expect to pay just £150.000 if it went on sale, a pint of beer is about £2.50 fish n' chips under a £5 no charge for driving into city centres ( yet) , So its not all gloom and doom, |
