I see two problems with that set up Endfeed - water from the shoe will be all over in a heavy down pour and we've got no seal at the Y piece, so we'll have a foul smell issue. I've not seen it up here, but noticed a install in Brixton where the installer had formed a trap out of 4 X 90 down pipe fittings and small length of down pipe to join the 90s together. That was his method to prevent the foul smell escaping out of the running outlet and into the dorma window. His Y piece had a proper down pipe to 110 adaptor going into his Y piece which had a rubber collar on it to seal for simple installation. It's going to be cheap and easy to do just looked odd, if I'm not make sense to you can can do a sketch. The master plan It looks like a lot of work EF. Plus If you're going digging I reckon you might as well dig a hole and fill it with rubble then put the R/W pipe into it. MP = if you get a blockage shit will come out of it.

Could change the 'y' fitting for a tee fitting, and put a trap on rain water side? I think your right I'm making too much graft out of it!!!!I think it would be best to run rain water onto drive way, there is a eco drain at bottom of drive to catch itπ if you could do a sketch battle of your idea that would be greatπππͺπ

The master plan The sketch below was how I remember seeing it, as the owner must of been having soil pipe odours getting into the roof dorma extension, from the running outlet so used this fix. It was all closely coupled and looked odd but was tidy. You would construct this below and push it into the left leg of the Y piece it the above drawing you've done. Now they had created space to slip behind the other pipe marked as "A" Attachment Deleted
