I'm thinking the chinks know much more than we are giving them credit for, they make EVERYTHING from iphones to rocket engines, but under licence from the owners, Its out of the chinky back door we're getting the cheap stuff, they make copies of the owners bluprints and sell them to boost their shit wages, they are not dumb nor unskilled, just overcrowded and need to make a buck to keep their families fed, They are very industrious people and make good 69, a meal with a bad view,  |

for me baxi have it right, there are loads of people who want simple,,all the best inventions invole simple,  I agree keep plumbing as simple as possible; complicated = problematic! However, the boffins in charge seem to have sensed that there's £££s to be made in doing complicated. |

Most of the International Companies that have production plants in China bring in their own management & quality control. |

Haha witches shit that is true it is i hate them but have lost couple good custs recently who went elsewhere after i kinda suggested just standard timer they all want them apart from elder generation but tbh the new regs coming into effect this year ( england only btw ) is another step too far and even when the elderly need boiler upgrade its gonna get more difficult to just keep it simple for them, Same here. Lost a couple of old customers because I advised them against Hive/Nest shoite. They assumed I didn't want to fit them. The real reason was because they were coffin dodgers elderly who were at home all day. Other reason was because they would struggle with the complexity and would be on the phone to me every 5 mins with problems.
I don't like the wifi ch controls, but I can see that for certain people they may have a use. However, many who have this setup don't actually need it.I'm fine with the install, but know fook all about computers. I still have an old Nokia dumb phone and a basic dektop pc. That's it. I don't understand smart phones, so struggle when setting up Hive/Nest.

So who can find the cheapest smart internet programmer these nests and hives are bit ott and i now am having to accept that these fucking things are here to stay lost a few customers recently as i kinda gave them my opinion of them but now i just keep my opinion to myself and just fit them fitted 2 hives this week one took over an hour just to pair up then explain how it works to someone who thinks fkn brexit is a new breakfast cereal i now await a call back from her saying can you take it off the wall and put it on the other side of room grrrrrr . Basically trying to keep my costs down and offer cheaper versions which i know might be more hassle but just curious whats out there i only see salus versions as the cheap options there first version was very problematic but i see they have an updated one with jumpers etc so anyone know of other decent cheaper versions than mainstream ones ? Wise words indeed keep opinion to yourself when uneducated |
