I’m not sure. It’s big. Happy Easter all

Just to add the big T looks like it’s had a reducer fitted & it’s all glued in!
More pics to follow

I think that large T has had a 40mm reducer put in it & the pipe snapped off. Do you think id get a 32mm reducer in it? If so, I’d do it. Not ideal but as you say it’s awkward to say the least. How big is that pipe? Any ideas?

I'd say it is 50mm ( 2 inch), no I don't think a reducer will fit, I'd saw the internal reducer to the wall of the tee, it will then come out with a chisel,
similar to this at 2.99 mins in,

Yes, I reckon it’ll saw out. Won’t be easy under the bath though!

It looks clipped so what broke that pipe in the Tee? My thoughts is its past its maintenance free life and sawing the incert out will most likely brake it further and if so may mean the full bath out.
Also whats the White discharge soap powder?

It’s silicone battle, silicone!
The pipe wasn’t clipped but held up with electrical tape around the 2x2 bath frame!
It’s a tricky job but it has to be fixed, no choice.

I feel for you mate, bet you wish you'd said you were too busy when they phoned you. With something like that, experience has taught me to either re-do it completely or refuse the work. You're gonna get back spazms, cuts, shit in your face and up your arms, hand cramps etc. all the while being really careful not to use enough pressure to pull something out or break a fitting further along the pipework. As Battle says, if that bit is brittle, the rest probably is. I'd want to reserve a full day for it and replace all pipe work from the bath to the stack, and charge for it too.

tilers are wankers endfeed, think of a tiler as bearswood brown, expect no thoughts other than " where's the nearest Macdonalds drive in " smiley-sad056 nay

The bath panel was soaked. I thought I’d have to smash my way in. A tap & the first tile fell out. I told the LL to have white plastic fascia board out on. Clean & looks good.
As for the job I charged well today.
I’ve told him it needs doing properly if not I won’t go back. He paid me for my time today & didn’t haggle. The best bit is he’s indian! Yes, caught me out in the phone as no hint of an accent. Seems ok. As I said paid for today.
My first try will be to tap out the reducer. Failing that it’s a new 50mm Tee plus new pipework back to bath waste which I’ll support & clip.
For doing that & kitchen sink waste inc. the parts I’m telling him £250.
If he want me to do bath panel i want £100 plus bits.
