Mind you I'd be angry with my life if I had a shit job like plastering, I suppose I should feel sorry for them

To be honest, doing what he's doing you'd be faster with a ring spanner or socket and keep your knuckles, another cheap shite gimmick. Not often you can get a ring spanner or socket on a plumbing fitting though arfur. Why is that ian?.

if ya need a shit, you need a working toilet, if it breaks no one calls the plasterer, they call someone who can fix it, thats why we are kings, I`ve never seen a king elbow deep in turds trying to fish a tampon out

I`ve met many plasterers that can plumb but no plumbers that can plaster. Plasterers have to learn plumbing as a matter of course due to plumbers leaving no access to water, toilets disconnected or connected when you have to plaster behind them, etc etc. Anyway, its not a job, it`s a craft. Us talented ones are true artisans. Sounds much more impressive than "pipe fitter"

I have to say Ian in all honesty, you're the first plasterer I know that can plumb, every plasterer i ever met can drill pipes, cover them, block them, bend them out of the way and kink them and just leave them for us to mend, My mate Derick is a plasterer, as soon as my phone goes off and his name come on, I know he's hit a pipe, One time in his own house, he wanted the 10mm pipes to the rad sinking in the wall, so i did it for him, next day he's on the phone, he's fixing the skirt and nailed the pipe,,,,,

With a rich history and even a royal charter. A craft that people will pay a lot of money for just for the sake of beauty. No-one goes to the sistine chapel to admire the radiators or toilets. Plastering is not just board and skim you know..

My adjustables will undo that just fine, probably quicker than with a ring spanner and not much slower than a socket on a ratchet only I don't have to carry a socket set about and waste time going to the van to get it because I always have the adjustables handy. I actually have two bahco sockets sets in my van anyway I just rarely need to use them unless I am working on my van or motorbikes. Each tool has their place, I would love to see you take this off with your socket set -

Granted I also know more than one that struggle to tie their shoe lace, but I also know plumbers that are incapable of making a watertight connection, one so bad his aunty asked me to fix the leaky bathroom he had left them (and this guy is "gas safe"!) But I still have never seen a plumber plaster anything.

Well, after extensive field trials I can confirm the adjustable ratchet wrench is worse than fucking useless!!.......What a pile of shite! Ian, I get 45 minutes to fit a radiator not 45 fucking hours!!! Us real Plumbers work fast as fuck & bonus or price Work is the order of the day. I need to fit a boiler & 9 radiators in one shift to make my £2K a week, it’s got to be neat & no leaks.
That spanner is deffo not designed for speed & is a complete disaster on anything to do with Plumbing. To get it to ratchet, the nut cant be loose & with anything I used it on I needed to click the ratchet every time. So, I chucked it in the back of the Garage....along with the QVC tools Olive bought me & were likewise fucking useless.
So in conclusion Ian, stick to spreading shit on the walls & leave a skilled Trade to the Artisans, there’s a good fellow👍👍

Perhaps us plasterers are less limp wristed than you plumbers because I use my fingers to start a nut or finish undoing it and the fatmax spanner handles the rest without issue and faster than a normal adjustable and without marring the fitting like grips. Another one that cant work a spanner Top tip - it`s not the spanner in your hand that causes leaks and crap work. It`s the spanner holding it..
