True. Repair jobs are usually time and materials for me. Not interested in driving around, looking at people's systems, and diagnosing for free. If it's a fault, I'm either coming to fix it, or they can keep ringing around.

The first one I put in was the salamander 3bar dual head pump and I told them at the time the warranty would be void because their hot water cylinder is heated via an old aga (gravity circulation) with a heat sink rad in the bathroom, so it's got no control much to how hot the water gets which ain't good. |
