Have you turned other rads off & checked to see if they get hot all over? Sorry, I can’t be bothered to read through the whole thread again If I switch all but the cold one off it gets piping

then the piping is inadequate or there's a build up of gunge, doing a powerflush might help but no one will guarrantee it will, the best thing to do is try balancing

So we are narrowing it down then, We can assume the pipes off the boiler are 22mm, Do you know how far they go before splitting to 15mm ? It could be that they slit too early or there's lenghts of 10mm running too long a distsnce, 10mm is ok as long as its in short lenghts,

Defo 22mm off the boiler, unsure where it splits down as it goes into a wall (boiler is in outhouse) 8mm tails on the rads , strangely when we first moved in with only one double (in the dining Room) all was rosy it’s only happened since the additional 3 doubles have been added, could it be the expansion vessel being too small?

Crank all the upstairs lockshields down to 1/4 turn and down stairs working rads to 1/3 of a turn and report back mate.
What speed is the pump on ?

Rads still as they were hot at top cool at bottom I wonder if you set all the lock shields to a 1/4 turn open and all TRV to postion two and check each rad and note which heats up first and report back that finding. Next you can open the cold/slower rads lock shields further and see if your system allows sharing of the heat source in case the system just can't cope by possibly losing so much heat in losses from Un- insulated pipework out of view?

Flow is your problem, either undersized pipe work or restriction in pipe work

If you turn all working rads off and the problem ones get hot but goes cold when you have all working it's either balancing problem or restricted flow.

Hi mate Initially I’d turned all but two off Living room and bed 2 were the problem ones, when all others off they were piping hot. I’ve switched all to your recommendations 1/4 and 1/3 I’ll let you know the outcome
