Bar showers can be pretty cheap, £30+
I'd change it.

got one of these and cant get it to run hot any ideas please? It may just have a blocked mesh washer on the hot side if you're lucky and if not as rocky and Tom said.

water hot out of every other tap, it's brand new and yes in new house so reported it as a fault If it's in a new house and they have been soldering copper , i bet they didn't flush the pipe's before fitting the mixer and as PB said the mesh washer is full of shit and flux residue , i have seen this happen many times on all makes and models of thermo mixers , why don't people just do the job right in the first place....!

If its brand new then there's 3 possibilities 1. its been installed wrong ( cold and hot wrong way round) 2.. as others have said muck in filter 3. its faulty, I've had a few that hav't worked from new, Its a bit of a bugger when you move from one house because of problems and get more at the new house,

a combi relies on the water pressure of the incoming mains, I never checked the pressure of yours because i'd no need to for the job i did, is it poor at the other taps ?, to check get a measure jug and open the kitchen cold tap fully, you'll need a timer/clock and measure how many litres you can fill in one minute, If its less than 9lte per minute, the water main needs upgrading, the water authority are duty bound to supply at the very least 9 litres per minute, 9 litres per minute will give an adiquent shower but it won't be brillient and if someone turns another tap on it will stop, a pump on a mains water is expensive and a bodge job but it saves all the digging and groundwork that should have been done during the refurbish of the house, It looks like someones cut corners , jvtsl41E0pOEtzQWTQLo thumbs down
