Hi lads and rocket jnr. Thinking caps on. Video shows my dad's kitchen tap apparently turning itself on. What happens is , he turns the bath taps on (in the bathroom) and water comes from the kitchen taps. Kitchen taps are these 1/4 turn thingumyjigs Watch the video Weird Ghostly Taps
Edit, corrected the video link

I expect the kitchen sink hot cartridge is bypassing but not easily seen as just the hot since it's a mixer tap.

Yes our Tappy mentioned this a while ago, I'd never come across it but, its a check he always does as a standard, boiler noise investigation, its the tap cartridge and it might be cheaper to just change the whole tap depending on the make,

I didn’t see this post so sorry JJ
Did you fix it?
I don’t have this issue but sometimes in my bathroom the tap runs a bit when they’re off. I put it down to excess water in the spout. It’s a roper Rhodes mixer with a curved spout so I think it’s that.
Cheers all
