Thanks Battle and another question which I think is more "plumbing" in nature. The condensate pipe that comes with it is long enough to poke through to the outside by about 10cm. The instructions say a "VP16" extension pipe which google tells me is a pvc hose of internal diameter 16mm. I also measured that connector OD at 16mm with verniers. So I bought this: www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B081TLRWJP/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1It says wall thickness is 2.5 so not sure if that means the outside dimater is 21mm? And then where to get decent insulation for it and also how to be sure it won't leak. Would you use a drop of silicone or lsx or something. I mean its not the end of the world if it does as would be dripping outside so I'd see it and aircon condensate is apparently clean enough to water plants with... Attachments:

I would of wanted to put it into overflow pipe and fittings in PVC-U, including pipe, elbows, reducers, brackets and more. Ideal for cistern and tank overflow, boiler condensate drain and water softeners as a sweeter install.
