View AttachmentView Attachment.she's born! it has to be tension up with spanner, expands well tight inside 15mm pipe,so I've got no doubt this will hold back water, if anyone is thinking of buying one please don't, this was a piece of piss to make.
May have a go, thanks. As a keen viewer of Blue Peter in my youth, I can make anything, me. Though I think I'll need more than empty Fairy bottle, egg boxes and some sticky back plastic.

Is that a threaded bar endfeed - M5 or M6 ?, I can't tell from the picture as it looks like you've taken it from a moving vehicle

Horizontal wet pipes in the loft yesterday. I managed to open one end but still whenever I put a flame on the pipe, steam came out.
Had what turned out to be a good idea. I took a very wet not quite dripping old t-shirt and wrapped it around a long section of the pipe away from where I was soldering. Theory was it would stop the pipe heating up further away where the water was.
It bloody worked too !
