How much should someone charge to fit a main 24kw or 30kw boiler Depends if your system needs a Power Flush or not. Then there’s the additional work to comply with Part L & the associated requirements. Your controls need to comply with Boiler Plus also. |

Well, they’re certainly not going to know if the system water is clean or not, over the Phone. Or if the Gas Pipe is big enough, or if they need an extended flue etc etc etc.m The output/size of a Combi boiler is determined by several factors, but the Incoming Cold Main flow rate should always be checked. |

It's a good fair price aj As long as he'll register it for you then that's all that matters especially if your not going to bother with the (now getting towards the £100 mark) annual services. |

It’ll be a day in & out.
Cheap boiler, probably no flush.
Make sure you know exactly what he’s going to do for the money.
Remove waste? Use copper? Decent filter? Decent programmer? All electrics up to regs? Register & complete all paperwork?
Have you done your due diligence on him or his company?
Have you obtained another quote or 2?
It seems too cheap to me
My mate charges anything north of £2,000 fir a boiler swap. But he’s very good.

I’m probably the wrong person to ask regarding recommendations. Every boiler has pros & cons, so you I could go on endlessly on the subject. aj, get 3 quotes in writing(email etc) & ensure each individual Installer details their quote, including the boiler they propose fitting & itemise the work they intend to do in relation to the boiler swop. |
